Making tracks

Born and brought up in Whitehaven, Tom Tyson became a professional musician at 17. He played bass with some of the pop greats and worked as a session musician before going on to work in production. He returned to Cumbria with his wife Pam in 1983 and established The Music Farm recording studio at Egremont in 1988-89
